Amartya as a student body association, has taken various initiatives to promote holistic growth of its students by providing them with various opportunities to enhance their skills. It is paramount to survive in a competitive world and to thrive in such a world you must be equipped for the necessary challenges. Hence we have introduced three wings: the Research, the Dialogue and the Media Wing to aid the former goals. We provide the young minds with a platform to express and upgrade their talents as it is also headed by students who have major experience and likeness to the above mentioned fields. We also hope that this relationship goes further and bring out the best in everyone. Let us stand together and make the best of this academic year through hard work and perseverance.

The Research Cell is a culmination of the most avid writers who are a part of the Economics department. In today's world research is an essential aspect that helps students develop a profound understanding of current events. The cell focuses on providing a bridge for the students to reach their goals. It also helps the students gain a deep insight to various topics and bring unique points to light.
The initiatives taken by the Research Cell include
1. Research Database containing journals and conferences accepting research work in economics and allied fields
2. Sessions on research in economics including basic research skills, as well as sessions by specialists in exciting fields in the social and behavioral sciences
3. Peer to Peer Sessions where prospective coauthors can be found, ideas debated, and help sought

The Media and Promotions wing builds visibility and presence for Amartya through its media handle and offline ventures. We are group of crafters who intend to use media to nurture the economic self in us and all christites. In an era of parallel sources, finding the right circle of information is crucial- unbiased and circumfers the topic. Our writers through our social media page filters and reproduce the perfect circle of knowledge to its viewers. Our blog focus on illuminating curiousity and research skills to aspiring economists by providing the platform to exhibit their interpretations. We as a wing look at various possible ways of interacting and sharing like recommending readings, weekly updates etc. Media and Promotions are here for one and all. We cater to other wings in their design element as visual appeal adds in spreading the aura of the content.
